॥ गुणहीनता च दौर्बल्यं तथा कर्तृत्त्वहीनता

समाश्रयन्ति संवादे शब्दान्विपरितार्थकान्‌

अशक्तश्च भवेत्साधुर्ब्रह्मचारी तु निर्धनः

         व्याधिष्ठो देवभक्तश्च वृद्धा नारी पतिव्रता !!! ॥

Meaning >

In Sanskrit, the word ' खलबुद्धिः ', pronounced as ' Khalabuddhihee ' means ' Crooked  Mentality '.

This is a classic gem from Arya Chaanakya's famous ancient doctrine penned in the 12th Century, titled ' Chaanakyaneeti ' which speaks on Ethics, Behavioural science, Morality, and the Philosophy of living excellence... ...

Arya Chaanakya aptly puts his finger here, on the mentality of ' Smart People '... such persons are not necessarily intelligent. 

Because they are devoid of Consciousness, Character, Morality, and Capability to achieve anything worthwhile, in their life, they develop an inherent One upman 's attitude.

They know well, these weaknesses of their inner core, and so, always move around attaching labels to them, which are not merely acceptable to, but reverred by the society at large. Arya Chaanakya also quotes befitting funny examples of this ' Smart behaviour '.

For example, a weak smarty, who is incapable of delivering a tit for a tat, will pose as a harmless saint ! ... ...Another smarty, who cannot marry because of his incapability to maintain a family due to meagre financial position, will move around bragging about as a stalvart of bachelorhood...!! A third one, who is visiting temples and churches day in and day out because of poor diseased health, will boast about his reverence to God...!!!

And an old smart woman, will go  around blowing her horn, about her strict adherence to chastity, though the society knows well, that she is incapable of doing anything otherwise. !!!!

Arya Chaanakya warns these ' smarties ' that although they think that they can successfully cheat people around them, in actuality, they end up cheating themselves all the time, simply because although the labels can change, the reality cannot. !!!
