॥ PHILOSOPHY AND SPIRITUALISM ॥
“॥ नार्जितं यदि सत्कृत्यं, दुष्कृतं मा कुसञ्चयेत्
कृतंयद्वद्फलंतद्वन्नियत्याप्नोति मानवः ॥ ”
“ Dear Readers …
It gives me great pleasure to address you all, on the occasion of
this blog crossing a milestone of twenty fifth century of readership,
spread over thirty countries around the world… …
All along since inception of this blog, I have been speaking to
you all ‘between the lines’ so to say, via poetical compositions, on ‘ My
philosophy Of Living Excellence’.
Well… coining a poem, is a great challenge, and a source of
immense satisfaction too, because one has to say ‘so much’ in ‘so short a
space’.
That is sometimes a ‘neck breaker’ task…as I can tell you from my
three decades of penning experience.
Since I mostly pen my poetry in Sanskrit, and my Mother toungue
‘Maraathee’- a first level direct descendent of Sanskrit language, and the
official language of the state of Mahaaraashtra in India , all along I felt,
that I have been unknowingly unfair to my poetry lovers from other countries
across the world, who may not be conversant with these languages.
However, now that is no more so, for three reasons.
First is, that the caption of this blog has now changed to
‘ ……..Sanskrit – Marathi – English Poetry’, as you might have
already noticed.
Second is, that my first English poem on Philosophy Of Living,
titled ‘ The Devil’s Knock’ has also appeared on this blog recently.
And the third and final reason is this… …
I am glad to announce, that my school buddy right from the fifth
standard of primary school till date, Mr. Kishor Kulkarni, is joining us on
this platform, and will be speaking with you, mainly on ‘Spiritualism’, and
occasionally on other subjects of interests too.
Kishor is a Metallurgical Engineer by profession, seasoned enough
in the art of English poetics, author of the column ‘Speaking tree’ on
Spiritualism in ‘The Times Of India’ and the like in others newspapers,
translator of ‘Shree Dnyaaneshwaree’- a spiritual doctrine in Marathi, into
English, and author of two volume set of a self published book titled ‘Do not
take this world seriously’… …all of which are available on ‘amazon.com’ ( in
e-book form ), and ‘pothi.com’. ( in paperback )
Although Kishor’s and my fields of interests are different…I mean to
say that he adores ‘Spiritualism’, whereas I relish ‘Philosophy’ and ‘Human
Psychology’… we often happen to cross our swords so to say, in the ring of
‘poetical clashes’, the end result of every single one of which, always
culminating invariably into a ‘win win end’!!
Well, Mr. Kishor will talk to you soon, to say whatever he wants
to… …
But all that gist of ‘Spiritualism’ I wish to tell you
about from Philisophical point of view, I have coined for you in this
verse below, in Sanskrit Language …
“॥ नार्जितं यदि सत्कृत्यं, दुष्कृतं मा कुसञ्चयेत्
कृतंयद्वद्फलंतद्वन्नियत्याप्नोति मानवः ॥ ”
Phonetics:
“॥ Naarjitam yadi
satkrutyam, dushkrutam maa kushanchayet
Krutamyadwatphalamtadwanniyatyaapnoti maanawahaa ॥ ”
Meaning:
“ Man’s deeds hold the key to his Destiny, which invariably awards
him the final verdict, absolutely commensurate with his own deeds, in the
end.”
With this, I thank you, and alight this dias…
And occupy the chair next to you in the auditorium, whenever I am
not addressing you myself… …
To listen to what Mr. Kishor has to say, in the days to come … … …
Clap…Clap…Clap.”
