Preamble >
I have composed into Sanskrit verses, this funny episode of historical times from Philosophy, wherein two Pundits - one a true scholar, whereas another one an educated fool- engaged into a debate, the subject of which was ' To become happy, whether one should stick to the 'Doctrine of controlled behaviour', or totally part with the 'Shame'... ...!! '
People who are only 'bookworms', and don't heed the advice of 'experience', have an inherent 'one upman's attitude'...and many times indulge in futile argumenation with others, over even trivial matters, only for the sake of argumentation.
Classical Philosophy categorizes such people as 'पढतमूर्ख’( pronounced as ' Padhatamoorkha '), meaning 'Educated Fools'.
Mostly, these 'Smarties' are overconfident, self centered, mean, consciousless, and of omniscient attitude... ...the core of their argumrntations invariably has a scent of 'how you are wrong', rather than 'how I am correct'. They can never discriminate between 'Smart' and 'Intelligent' behaviour.
'Pennywise and Pounds fool' people aptly describe this category.
Such people almost always end up in picking the tail side of every coin, act on it foolishly, and dig up their own graves, for which they have to blame themselves alone, in the end.
This funny episode illustrates, how this comes about... ... ...

(*) During these historical eras, even prostitutes used to be respected by the society, due to their proficiency in various arts such as Dancing, Singing, Diction, Dramatics, etc. etc, and honoured in Royal Courts too, sometimes.
Reflections of the 'E-Fool' in isolation >
," 'Shame' seems to be an entity beyond the reach of human comprehension, and no Pundit can identify the fountainhead of it...Everyone just seemed to run away, when I posed these questions to them,"What is 'Shame'?, and where does it sprout from?"
So, as a last resort, I hailed a passing prostitute on the market street, and sought her specific opinion on the origin and characteristics of 'Shame' , whereupon I got a slap in the face, in broad daylight...!!
Hower, I automatically got clear cut answers to both my querries on the spot, when my face turned crimson...!!!
So because of bearing 'Shame', the Pundits were non plussed, and had to run away - e.g. they sustained damage of some sort - , whereas, I parted with it, doggedly seeking the resolution of our argumentation, from a prostitute - the class supposed to be the supreme authority to speak on 'Shame' - , and got it completely resolved...!!!... ...No doubt, the slap in the face was a damage too... ...
However, only I sustained it... ...
But what about the abundant welfare, the resolution of the debate has bestowed upon the society as a whole?
In any civilization, generally people of the 'second class' of the argumentation, vastly outnumber people of the 'first class', in totality, and so, if these people of the second class start feeling bashful, then the damage to the society's welfare will be much worse than that, if people of the first class start feeling shameless...!!!
So, logically, I conclude, that 'For being happy and instrumental to the welfare of the society at large, people need to divorce their 'Shame' altogether !!!! "
