CONFUSED IDENTITY
On the back of a grazing buffalo
Was perched this tired crow
‘He was really a crow ’, it forgot
“I’m indeed the buffalo”, it thought
Once it pecked the buffalo’s right
Buffalo indeed turned to the right
Next, to test, Crow pecked side left
Wow !! Buffalo turned to the left
This happened quite a few times
Though not at many other times
Crow believed it was driver
Of buffalo, a mere meek creature
Though of flying, crow was capable
Driving buffalo was enjoyable
Crow wouldn’t be enlightened any
After living thru’ generations many
Humans are like that crow pecking
Who keep doing many things, thinking
They do as per their desires
With the world obeying their orders
Hopes often dash disappointingly
We link cause-effect unscientifically
Forgotten is real role of spectator
Assumed identity, the screen character
